Do you ever feel overwhelmed with so much you just don't know who or where you are? Does it ever make you feel so out of control that you just can't get out of bed to start your day? I'm feeling a little mixed and thought perhaps their are others out there feeling the same way. If you're feeling any type of depression, anxiety, stress, anger, sadness or anything else not noted...please take a look at the this
link which provides a list of questions for you to check off, complete, print and go over with your own personal doctor.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) patients suffer more physical ailments than what is considered normal. The study demonstrated an impressive connection between patients suffering from PTSD and the following:
- Circulatory disease;
- Musculoskeletal diseases;
- Digestive diseases;
- Hypertensive conditions; and
- Others.
Veterans

Researchers found the diseases that usually develop with a person's lifespan, such as circulatory and hypertensive conditions, developed very shortly following the end of the veteran's military career. Most diagnosis came within 7 months after the veterans were first diagnosed with PTSD. Researchers then concluded veterans of wars such as the ones in Iraq and Afghanistan may develop higher:
- Lifespan morbidity;
- Mortality rates; and
- Use of the health care system.
A PTSD diagnosis significantly raised the risk of many diseases even after controlling for factors that can affect physical illness, like depression, stress, and substance-abuse.
I wish you all well and know that we are not alone when feeling any of the symptoms described, help is available for everyone.
