Pink Warriors 5k Race For The Cure!

The fight against cancer goes on.  In today's society everyone knows someone who has been touched by breast cancer.  Whether it's a friend or relative, I'm sure someone in your circle has battled breast cancer.  I have found a way to fight against cancer - through the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®.  I've dedicated this run to Army Mom Tammy Valle. Tammy received her diagnosis last year and immediately started her battle. Today, Tammy is kicking her cancer's butt! I'd  also like to include my good friend Karri who recently received news that she'll be going in to battle once again. Karri's strong and I know she will kick its butt too!!

The 5k Komen Race for the Cure® is a community event that honors and memorializes breast cancer survivors, co-survivors & those that have lost to the disease.

The Race also plays a vital role in raising funds for research, education, prevention, advocacy and treatment. Each year over 1.3 million people take part in Race for the Cure events around the world. Our PINK WARRIORS team will be joined by thousands of others Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Balboa Park in San Diego!
