Say Cheese!
Themed Care Package
Mix it up a little! In stead of the same'ol snacks and more snacks packages, send something personal every couple of weeks or once a month! One month you can customize family members, another month personalize their favorite pets, movies, celebrities etc! Here's a list of some ideas..best part is, most can be ordered online at Walmart & Shutterfly!
- Photo rubik's cube
- Travel mug
- Puzzle
- Playing cards
- Photo tin (you could pack cookies or other goodies in it
- Notebooks / Journals - send it empty one month for them to fill in notes of their deployment. Decorate it before sending it out so they get the idea! Another great idea is to create one for each family member or combined mom/dad one! We had fun with the combined option, each one of us had a specific color to enter our daily topics! GET detailed with it, they absolutely love it! Example: mom 4/1/12 @315pm - tired of cleaning but trying to hurry because (dad) wants to go get Chinese food when he gets home! Blah. Then dad posts with a smart #@! remark! Done...it's a lot of fun! Add pictures, drawings or newspaper clippings!
- Photo clings
- Boxer shorts
- Calendars
- Magnets (to hang on metal racks)
- Stickers (to decorate letters/packages)
- Key chain
- Blanket
- Pillowcase
